We are a Czech event agency Beatworx creating unique experiences for music fans. Our biggest event is the well-known Let It Roll festival which is leading in the world’s drum and bass scene. However, we are also responsible for events like Devastator, Imagination, Liquicity Prague, and Frontline Festival. We’re searching for a Chief Operating Officer (COO) who has strong leadership skills and the ability to approach business with a creative point of view.
THE PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The mission for this position is managing of implementing company strategies into daily operations to meet objectives. A company’s chief operating officer (COO) is second in command, reporting to the chief executive officer (CEO) and his colleagues are Marketing Director, Finance Director, and Production Director.
YOUR FUTURE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Organizing the functioning of the company managing and optimizing internal processes and planning activities across departments in the company
- Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of executives (IT, Production, Marketing, Finance, HR, etc.)
- Participating in strategic planning and goals setting
- Developing of innovated projects
- Cooperation with partners of our business
OUR REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience in the event industry is necessary
- Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
- Overview of finance and law for festivals
- Strong communication skills (English or Czech – min. B2)
- Team player
- Love (electronic) music and festivals
- Located in Prague
